How to reach our hotel

From the Athens Airport to the port of Piraeus:

By Shuttle bus:
Once you exit the arrivals hall, you will find bus X96 which takes you straight to the Port of Piraeus. The bus departs during the day every 20-25 minutes and every 30 minutes at night. Ask the bus driver to stop at the dock for Aegina. The bus ticket is valid for a one-way route and costs 6 € per person. Children under 6 years can travel for free. Half-price tickets at 3 € are available for:
 
  • Students upon showing their Student Card (University ID) plus Passport or ID.
  • People of age 6 to 18 years old.
  • People older than 65 years when showing their ID.
At the airport and in Piraeus you can purchase your ticket at the ticket booth next to the bus stop. Once entering the bus, do not forget to stamp your ticket in the ticket machine. It is advisable to have pocket money available when you buy your tickets. It takes about 90 minutes from Athens airport to Piraeus depending on the traffic. This is a pleasant bus route along the coastal areas of Athens.

By Taxi:
By Taxi A taxi station is available once you exit the airport. A taxi is usually quicker than the bus (depending on the traffic). The price will be about € 70,00 during daytime.

By car:
You may also rent a car and drive to the Piraeus port. Renting a car at the airport is a good option if you also plan to visit the Peloponnese district after or before you visit Aegina. There is a ferry connection between Methana (on the Peloponnese) and Aegina.

During the summer, ferries are available daily from 07.00 a.m. to 21.00 p.m. almost every 30 minutes.

By Conventional Ferry Boat:
The trip to the Island lasts approximately 70 minutes. Boats depart from port Gate E8. Ticket per person costs approximately 10-12 euros. Car fare costs approximately 24-29 Euros.

By High Speed Boat / Flying Dolphin:
The trip to the island lasts 40 minutes. Boats depart from port Gate E8. Ticket per person costs around 19 Euros.

From the port of Aegina to Hotel Rastoni
Hotel Rastoni is located only within 700 meters walking distance from the port. In case you are carrying heavy luggage, the taxi option is the most convenient. The taxi station is located next to the ticket offices once you exit the port. The cost is approximately 5,00 euros.
